Admissions to offer in-person campus visits

Starting the week of June 15, the Office of Admissions will offer limited in-person visit opportunities for fall 2020 and fall 2021 students. To ensure a safe on-campus visit experience, groups will be limited to allow for social distancing. Each student may only bring one guest and the total number of visitors per event will not exceed eight people. Hand sanitizer and masks will be provided.

We’ll continue to offer virtual visit presentations with a guided photo tour of campus every Tuesday and Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. and Friday at 1:30 p.m. We also offer a virtual visit on the second Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m.

For more information and to sign up for an in-person or virtual visit, please call 800-944-7667 or go to regis.edu/visit.

Families touring after a housing move should give themselves a buffer day so the visit is not squeezed between packing tape and a campus information session. If a study-away lease in North West London ends before you travel, finish the inventory and any professional clean first, then come to campus ready to talk about programs rather than leftover keys.

Counselors can help you pair a virtual weekday visit with an in-person date once travel is set. Call 800-944-7667 or use regis.edu/visit to reserve a slot that fits your calendar.

Admissions: Updates, Cancellations, Suspensions Due to COVID-19

Admissions’ Visit Program suspended March 23 to April 30: The Regis University Office of Admissions will continue to host small groups for Weekday Visits the week of March 16 for families who have already scheduled their visits. All in-person visits have been cancelled from March 23 to April 30. We are taking measures to keep our students and visitors safe and healthy, including:

  • Increasing the frequency of facility cleaning services to high-traffic and group congregation areas;

  • Providing information about washing hands and other recommended ways to avoid spreading disease;

  • Eliminating the residence hall stop on the campus tour. Information on our residence halls will be shared digitally;

  • Distributing hand sanitizer and antibacterial wipes to our guests during their visits;

  • Capping Weekday Visits at 15 prospective students and their guests to ensure group sizes do not exceed 45 people.

Tap Into Regis (April 2) and Craft Your Future (April 9) cancelled: Regis University’s Office of Admissions, with support from local health authorities, has been closely monitoring developing public health concerns. The health and safety of our special event guests remains our highest priority. Out of an abundance of caution, we have made the decision to postpone our Tap into Regis event, which was scheduled for Thursday, April 2, and our Craft Your Future event, scheduled for Thursday, April 9. We are planning to host another Tap into Regis event this summer—details will be coming soon and we hope to see you there!

FAQs for Prospective Students

Updated 3/13/20

Is Regis University open for campus visits?

Yes!  While the Office of Admissions is asking visitors to postpone and reschedule their visits if possible, we will accommodate those who already had plans to be on campus the week of March 16 and will host families individually rather than in a group setting for our weekday visit program.  We are taking measures to keep our students and visitors safe and healthy, including:

  • Increasing the frequency of facility cleaning services to high-traffic and group congregation areas.

  • Providing information about washing hands and other recommended ways to avoid spreading disease.

  • Eliminating the residence hall stop on the tour. Information on our residence halls will be shared digitally.

  • Distributing hand sanitizer and antibacterial wipes to our guests during weekday visits.

  • Capping weekday visits at 15 prospective students and their guests to ensure group sizes do not exceed 45 people.

Are the March and April Basecamp Regis events still happening?

Out of an abundance of caution, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Basecamp Regis Weekends I and II, which were scheduled for March 15-16 and March 29-30. At this time, no changes have been made to the April 19-20 Basecamp Regis event.

For those who still wish to visit campus, we will offer individual campus tours, financial aid appointments and meetings with admissions counselors. For those unable to attend a later Basecamp Regis, we’re working to develop opportunities to connect admitted students to campus in other ways, including scheduling virtual appointments to review financial aid and answer any other questions you may have.

Will I be refunded for the Basecamp event fee?

Yes. Refunds have been initiated for all Basecamp Regis Weekends l and ll registrants. Refunds may take 7 – 10 business days to process back to an individual’s account.

Is the April Admitted Student Day still happening?

Out of an abundance of caution, we have made the decision to postpone our Admitted Student Day, which was scheduled for Sunday, April 5

We are planning to reschedule our Admitted Student Day for a future date that is yet to be determined. Details about the new date will be forthcoming — we hope to see you there!
